Quotes, Riddles, and Poems..

I have them all in the story.  One of them isn't mine though. It is quoted from the Iliad but fits perfect for the opening of the story. Now I just need to figure out if I can keep it when I publish.

So if there is anyone out there that has any advice about this type of thing I would greatly appreciate it :).

The poems and riddles however, are mine. This is a story of  myth that dates back in a time when philosophy didn't have a name and riddles were tests of the Gods.

There is one thing that I am missing (well several actually but, this one is the most important) and the wording for it keeps alluding me. I know it's because I have yet to work up to that event and thus lack the emotion it takes to create something so powerful as to change the lives of not only the protag but all that are connected to her.

On a side note: The town I live in is very small. If you want new books you have to go into the next town to walmart and see if your lucky enough to find them there. I did just that the other day and what did I find on the shelf?  Amanda Hockings Lullaby (I think that was the one), SIGNED.......no, not stamped, copied, or printed by a machine, it was actually signed by her. If you don't know who this writer is Go Here .

I couldn't buy it tho as of right now my funds for books are strictly for those that I have invested time into. Hockings books would start a new series (of which I am in the middle of two, by two different authors), that I don't have the time for yet.

Anyways, she is a bit of inspiration to those who want to self publish. She isn't shy on her blog and shares the ups and downs of how it all started and where it lead.

Kudos to you Ms. Hocking.
