I have to admit that when I saw my first follower (much love to Debbie), I was surprised and happy.
However, I'm now getting these weird thoughts about "needing more" followers. Today is one of those days where lots of thoughts are being unintentionally focused on blogging and what it means for the future of my novels.
Since I started this blog my stats show that I've had almost 1,000 hits. But, unfortunately they were not all human. Spam bots and the like. (I think thats what they are called). Anyway, at the moment I really don't have the time to worry about getting followers but, it is on my mind more often as not lately.
So, my question to any humans that DO read this blog, and have a successful blog of your own when it comes to attracting followers to your projects that you blog about, how do you do it?
I don't tweet, I do have Facebook but only to let family know I'm still here, and the thought of strangers going to my Facebook account where I only have family on it is kinda getting to close inside the personal bubble.
If any do comment on this I thank you ahead of time :).
(Wish I had more to say but, I now have the house to myself for a few hours and my writing gerbils insist I work on the story as much as possible before work.)
