Actually more like Psycho Maniacal Giggles. Potato/Pototo (sp?).
If anyone has noticed, there are a couple of posts that have (giggles) at the end of them. That's my way of making light something I have various levels of self doubt about. Or, I had lots of caffeine that day. Either way, they are there.
Today however, Ive caught my inner gerbils giggling every time I've worked out a scene then re-read and think to myself "Where the hell did that come from?"
After the creepiness of the giggling quiets down, I look at the scenes again and think, "Hey, that's some good stuff!" This does not happen often! Brain gerbils giggling does however. (We all have them. It's just that mine are easier to amuse is all.)
To put all this into perspective. I have been working on the story since I got up...around uh...12ish? I worked late lastnight and didn't get to bed til 3am-ish. Parts of the brain didn't wake up until about 5ish. Damn those lazy lefties. Moving on.
I have been trying to outline (finally) the entire story so I can sit and weave the tale without getting caught up in the trap of "what should come next". Let's just say that I am getting somewhere and after all these years it feels gooooooood, and I have awarded my brain gerbils with bits of ginger candy. (It's their fave.) After all the wheel spinning they have to do...oh, sorry, getting off track.
I need to give HUGE Thank yous to Authors, Writers, Bloggers and all around helpful people on the web. Which I will........soon. I just need to make sure I won't embarrass them later if I fall flat on my face. Why do I post this now instead of waiting until the story is done and thanking these wonderful artists? Because even though I won't forget, I do know I will get sidetracked by what could happen "next". This is my reminder and a promise to do so when it's all said and done.
