NaNoWri Month

My daughter and I have been members of NaNoWri for some time now.  I've never gotten around to participating in the November challenge but I think she has. I'll ask her about her experience later.

The point of this blog however is about how I won't be (again) joining in next month.  The only story I have that would reach 50,000 words (and more) is the story I've been working on for the past 6 years. I'm not comfortable typing it on a website. Even if it is suppose to help you further your writing skills and have others see you.  I just can't bring myself to do it right now.

I haven't posted in a while because I've been writing, researching and brainstorming.  Tonight I have to go to work and when I get home, I'll continue to write, research and brainstorm.  Right now it seems that my very existence is revolving around getting this story finished.

However, yesterday on my day off, I ignored the pull to write and played with the new Bamboo splash I got for early Christmas.  It helped ease the brain gerbils for a while.  But, by 1 a.m, they ultimately exploded.  Leaving me feeling like my head was filled with massive amounts of fur and goo.

My "day" job is the only thing that keeps me from burn out I think.
