Online Comics...Love 'em!

There's very few things that can hold my attention any more (no, not because my attention span is getting shorter but,  because the story doesn't like to share brain space). But, there are a few Online Comics that I have been loyal to for some time now and I want to share.

Bear Nuts
Alison Acton is one of the craziest, funniest, creative, and down right inspiring artists I've come across in awhile. The link will start you at the beginning of Bear Nuts.

Girl Genius
Phil and Kaja Folio. One word. Brilliant. Phils sketch page shows you his personality while the comic itself shows you his discipline in the arts. I came across this wonderful comic a few years ago via one of my aunts who is also an artist. One of the other coolest thing (besides the main comic) about their site is.........Robert Asprin's first Myth book was turned into a comic! I wish they could continue the series but Mr. Asprin, an extraordinary author, passed away in 2008.  The Folio comic site has several other smaller comics, short stories, etc, to dig into as well.

Luci Phurrs Imps
Hmmm. How to describe Dale and Courtney(not a chick)?  Can't really. Go Read it! The comic is cute, funny, mean, and God is a big Black man that says "Me Damn it!" when he gets angry.

Lackadaisy
Tracey Butler is one KICK ASS artist!  Her story, characters, funny side comics with character bloopers, her talking to her characters, all of it.............is just so damn good! She has a deviant art page as well where she helps aspiring artists get a grasp on facial expressions and such.

Because of my tight schedule (and lack of book stores because we live in a very very small tourist town that would rather go to Myrtle Beach for all there entertainment and keep the small beach town bookstore free...........no I'm not bitter..........really........pfffft.

Back to what I was saying.  I have these comics and a couple blog sites that I frequent every other day (on scheduled updates). All the comics but Lackadaisy have updated frequently. Lackadaisy however is going through a bit of a dry spell because Ms. Butler has a very busy life. She updates when she can now.
The comics are a nice get away every once in a while when I need something else to paste my eyeballs to when the story starts to get crazy and I need a time out............(giggle)

25 more days.....
